Camp reservations include campsite, shelters, program areas, shooting ranges, C.O.P.E./Climbing, aquatics and more!  Reservation of all facilities is processed through the online system.  Due to high demand we recommend making reservations significantly in advance with a minimum 2-week notice (Note: No access to system within 2 weeks of desired date).  Some program reservations, such as those for C.O.P.E./Climbing, shooting range or aquatics require a 30 day notice.  

As you plan your unit camping calendar, please note to check the camp availability, as camp may not be available on certain dates due to council or district events, holidays, or other camp maintenance closures.  Camp reservations for unit weekend camping are on a first-come first-serve basis. 

Note: The reservation window for units opens on July 1 of each year and runs through June 30.

Making reservations for your unit weekend camp out is easy:

1. Determine the weekend your unit wants to camp, verify that the weekend is available, determine the number of your and adults attending.  You MUST reserve your site with the name of an adult who is attending.

2.  Review the Camp Guidelines for policies and Refund Policy.

3.  Review the SWFC Guide for Aquatics, C.O.P.E/Climbing and Shooting.  Review the Age Appropriate Activity guidelines and Guide to Safe Scouting.  Your unit is responsible for having the qualified and trained adult to run the program.  Their training card must be presented in order to participate in the activity. Don't have anyone trained, you can request that at the time of your reservation.

4.  Review the Facility Fees, to verify cost (if any).  Fees are due by Wednesday, prior to arriving.

5.  Make sure that you click on the COMPLETE ORDER button to finalize your reservation.

Camp Miles, located on the Price-Sanders Scout Reservation, in Punta Gorda, Fl. Consists of 1,200 acres of natural beauty in a diverse preserve setting. The camp is close to several other scenic destinations that offer recreational opportunities.
